Who do Adult Safeguarding Duties apply to?

Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone across all communities in Berkshire. Whether you are a neighbour, friend or someone who has a concern about a person in your community, or an organisation involved with adults with care and support needs, there is a role for you to play in ensuring that person is safe and well. • Adults whose need for care and support have not been assessed as eligible or which have been assessed as below the level of eligibility for support.
